I suck at this stuff so just read the story

DAVBSEB school is perpetually violent and aggressive. A vulnerable new boy from a tamer school quickly gets targeted by a particular bully. The attempts to deal with him lead to storms of conflict and confrontation.

Each time Shido Brooke checks his mailbox, there's always a letter from someone with a time and a place, and that place is always a ring for him and the sender of the letter to throw down. Sometimes it's a name he doesn't recognize. Other times, he does recognize it and shits his pants. Each time, he still accepts the challenges. After each beating, after all, a grappler can improve himself. Author's Note: Save for Shido himself, I own none of these characters. These fights are not to be taken too seriously in terms of "power scaling"(a concept I absolutely despise because it cuts out opportunities for defeats that aren't straight out overpowering in every aspect), nor are they to be taken too seriously in terms of where they would fall in canonicity of the stories these characters are from, nor in terms of where it would fall in timelines, save for some mini-arcs created within the narratives of these fights, at which point I will preface said fights with "Authors Note: This fight takes place blah blah blah." If you feel the need to offer criticism, please, feel free, as long as it doesn't regard any of the things I've already addressed. Like Shido, I can always improve!

Briar Brightly is not much of anything. She doesn't have any specific talents, not popular and she's not much of a people person. She would prefer to spend her days doing what she loves... which is training, the only thing she is something of. Briar's older brother Caden, used to always try and get her into better shape, cause let's be honest... she wasn't always the slim, pretty girl that she is now. Once Caden died though, she wanted to make him proud, so she started training at his old dojo in MMA like he did. She's only been training for a few years, but she likes to think that she would be able to protect herself if need be. Briar is starting her first year at college and is finally leaving her parents, who haven't been much of parents since Caden died. Moms always working, trying to stay busy and dads always drunk and never home. At college she's hoping to start a new life with no, non-parents. What happens when she finds out about the beatdown? Will she get her heart broken by the cocky ex-boxer, or change his heart?

Carson Daniels is a homophobe. He hates gays, can't stand the sight of them. In fact, nothing enrages him more than seeing some girly punk crossing his path. And for the queer, nothing good ever comes of it. Milo Ramirez is what some may call a "flaming homo." He wears nail polish, eye liner, and eye shadow, all in order to match his color scheme. But what most people don't know is that Milo is a very accomplished kickboxer and he doesn't take no crap from no one. When Carson meets Milo, he's shocked when the rainbow boy takes him down. But he's even more shocked when he finds he can't seem to get rid of the sarcastic new nuisance. For everyone else, Carson's unusual tolerance of Milo is almost comical. Especially as Carson finds himself being dragged into gay clubs and pride parades. The question is: could Carson and Milo be falling for each other? And is Carson really as much as a homophobe as he says he is?
