He looked me up and down with a nasty smirk on his face. "Talk more..." I felt uncomfortable. But I was desperate for the money.. "Ronnie has an open place..to fit you in as a street worker. You'd live under his rules, and he'd be your 'pimp' but you'd make fast cash to feed that family." He smirked and continued staring at me. "IM NOT THAT DESPERATE!" I grabbed my backpack off the diner table and turned away fast but he grabbed my arm and forced me back to the table. I feel almost knocking over the table. "You listen to me. You'll be a happy little whore and you'll be rich with that little body of yours." He tightened his grasp. I was screwed.

Just a random story that came into my head while texting a friend of mine one night. Everyone seems to like it though.

The simple beatings of everyday life and how we deal with them. Do you keep it all inside? Do you let them abuse you? Do you let their words crush you everyday? When are you gonna stand up for yourself?

WARNINGS: Mentions of being beaten, death, bad writing. Just a short story I wrote. I was bored and produced this monstrosity. Read if you dare, I guess.

"Why won't you tell me your name?" I typed, dying to know the answer after all of this time. The little blue "..." bubble indicating she was typing popped up, and I cautiously awaited her response. "You already know my name." She typed. I sighed, knowing that she'd keep her grudge, but I also knew she would know that I wouldn't give up mine, either. "I meant your REAL name." I tapped on the keyboard, not giving up. The typing bubble immediately popped up showing that she was typing. "It IS my real name." "Anon isn't a name..." My fingers were hitting the keyboard more rapidly now, and it was almost as if my whole body needed the answer. I positioned my fingers over the keyboard to start typing again, but was stopped in my tracks as a message popped up in the middle of the screen. "ANONYMOUS HAS SIGNED OFF" I sighed, leaning back in my chair, running a hand through my tangled hair. Crap.

Kelli was one of those pretty faces at school. Everybody wanted to be around her. It was now second quarter of collage and huge things started to happen. When that drama was just about over, second quarter was almost over as well. But Kelli was getting some strange texts lately. Thinking it was a prank, she ignored them. But as days went by, the texts still came and now wherever she went it felt like someone was watching her. Still dismissing theses feelings, she went on in life. At least until....
