Its December 10th, 1980, and John Lennon wakes up to discover that Paul McCartney, his ex-partner and lifelong best friend, has been murdered. John quickly finds his wife and son have left him abruptly, the world is convinced of a vicious rivalry between him and his deceased best friend, and he still has tickets to England, bought for a trip his old friends and relatives expect him to follow through on. Yoko tells him to "survive this alone." But in the face of criticism from the media, the brutality of the past and the truth of his relationship with Paul, will John be able to?

Elsie is just a normal 19 year old art student living in Plymouth. She moves into Plymouth and soon finds her place of serenity: a private, beautiful beach. At one visit to the beach she runs into four very famous lads from Liverpool; The Beatles. Paul is cute, Ringo is sweet but John and George are something else. John is spontaneous and George is adorable, two very different men. How could she choose between the two men who are the best of friends?

Paul: I've had enough of your backtalk. [hits John] Sartre: Please, if you could just-- George (disguised as a cop): What's going on here? John: The soup is cold! George: That's not a crime. Paul: You snitch! [hits John again] George: All right, enough of you lot. [arrests John & Paul, exeunt] Sartre: My soup is still cold. Ringo [in wig and dress, sits at table]: Oi, Jean. Sartre: Who are you? Ringo: Don't you know your own girlfriend? It's me, Simone. Sartre: Talk about bad faith.
