Having needed to give up his medicine studies, he has decided to start over and go to art college instead where he meets the rude and troublesome John Lennon, a young poet, who, much to Paul's dismay, also happens to be his neighbour. Though John first doubts Paul, because of his young age, Paul is soon accepted to the band. John's plan is to learn Paul's tricks and kick him out of the band after that. However, soon John notices even though Paul isn't the toughest lad he knows, he couldn't kick him out of the group, because together they are better. They become best friends. Or maybe... even more.
