After returning to Connecticut to move into your new home, you quickly become acquainted with your new neighbors, the Deetz. You take a liking to their only daughter, Lydia, who you are soon given the task of babysitting for a month whilst her parents go off on their honeymoon. You quickly come to realize this house is not what it seems once you meet Lydia's mysterious green-haired uncle. (Please share any ideas or spelling mistakes in the comments! Jade Walker moves out from home to a small village when she finished school, to take herself a year to consider what she wants to do with her life and to write music. What she definitely didn't expect, was a impertinent but attractive demon who lives in the house of her new friend Lydia, who takes guitar lessons from Jade. When Jade gets home after a guitar lesson with Lydia, she gets struck by a lightning. When she wakes up, she's not herself anymore. She's in the body of Betelgeuse, the demon and he is in hers. Stuck in this weird situation, she realizes, that there is much more behind the asshole front of Betelgeuse, than she thought at the beginning...

This is a book written about things that have happened to Lydia Deetz, if you do end up reading.. you're going to be reading about Lydia's life troubles.. With two other breathers, And three ex-breathers. Troubles at her school, troubles at home, troubles at the park.. Though, it's a story about her and her troubles- it's also about the struggles of people around her. The people around her cause more struggles for herself.

The mischievous poltergeist left the family alone after the incident, but impulsively came back when a young woman needed him the most. Lydia is standing on the roof, seconds from doing something she'll later regret, but something inside of the ghost with the most just won't let her do it. What is the beating feeling Betelgeuse feels drags him to this gothy girl. This is a fanfic about Betelgeuse and Lydia. Yes Lydia is older in the fanfiction, calm down. The story kind of binds together the movie, series and musical. It's an alternative concept of why Lydia and Betelgeuse suddenly are friends in the series. Enjoy! ! i don't own any of the art or the characters ! i've recently become so obsessed with the musical so i just had to write a fanfic as i've barely found any :( again this is based completely on the musical so the characters are all based on that but small details will be including from the movie (like the maitlands death) :D Characters - Lydia Deetz, Charles Deetz, Delia Deetz, Adam and Barbara Maitland and Beetlejuice! The Maitland-Deetzes may have been quick to forgive Betelgeuse for his past actions, but as he gradually begins to show that he's feeling more alone as time passes by, it reveals a side of the demon to the Maitlands that they never imagined they'd see.

Penney Van Aller hasn't had a "good life" per se. Trying to avoid the foster system after her mom died and her dad walked out on her, she's left selling her art on the streets to make money. But a new customer soon becomes a new home...

The title says it all. Just a warning, I will skip around when it comes to songs, and this is my first Beetlejuice fanfic, so I'm still trying to get a feel for the characters. Beetlejuice likely wont be as extreme and more sympathetic than usually shown, because that's how I view him as a character. I'll come back to edit it later, but for now, the story will be unedited. Also, Disclaimer, the art and the songs arent mine.

I went back and reread the original, and boy howdy, was it BAAAADDD. Lots of things I'm not crazy about, but have done way more research, and hopefully improved my writing to the point where I can make this fic way, way better than before!
