Beetlejuicemusical Stories

Hey! So, I really love Beetlejuice, especially the musical, so I decided to make an x reader story about it. Might be slow updates, but I'll try my best. When a befriending family of the Deetz's comes over for a visit, (y/n), a young woman, reunites with Lydia while both of their parents meet again as well. Little does (y/n) know that ghosts roam the house. Especially a certain... freelance bio-exorcist. Beetlejuice and it's characters do not belong to me! All rights go to the respective owners. I only did this for fun. The cover was made by me.

Lydia may not be her own child but Barbara can't help but love her as if she were. But, between bonding with her and being there for her like any good mother figure would, Barbara can't help but wonder if she is fit to be a mother figure in the teenager's life ...

Now, when you think of a story about someone being transported into a different universe, you picture them being the same age, right? Like, goes into the other universe the same age as they were in the other other world? Well, I thought this too. I was wrong. One minute, I'm a normal FIFTEEN YEAR OLD girl sitting on the sofa with my three legged cat, Guppy. Next thing I know, I'm FOUR YEARS OLD. IN A DIFFERENT HOUSE. IN A DIFFERENT F**KING FAMILY. Yeah. This is that story. // THIS STORY WILL HAVE SWEARING, MENTIONS OF DEATH (OBVIOUSLY) AND A CAT YOU WILL (HOPEFULLY) FALL IN LOVE WITH. ENJOY // This story blends the characters from the cartoon, musical and movie. All characters will appear as they do in the musical OBC with some aspects from the other versions of Beetlejuice. Also, this story won't be to serious or written like Shakespeare. I'm 15. Give me a break. But, enjoy it.

After returning to Connecticut to move into your new home, you quickly become acquainted with your new neighbors, the Deetz. You take a liking to their only daughter, Lydia, who you are soon given the task of babysitting for a month whilst her parents go off on their honeymoon. You quickly come to realize this house is not what it seems once you meet Lydia's mysterious green-haired uncle. (Please share any ideas or spelling mistakes in the comments! Also, any constructive criticism is greatly accepted!)

The title says it all. Just a warning, I will skip around when it comes to songs, and this is my first Beetlejuice fanfic, so I'm still trying to get a feel for the characters. Beetlejuice likely wont be as extreme and more sympathetic than usually shown, because that's how I view him as a character. I'll come back to edit it later, but for now, the story will be unedited. Also, Disclaimer, the art and the songs arent mine.

This is a little book of One Shots for the ship Beetlejuice × Adam from Beetlejuice on Broadway. It will contain mostly fluff, with some angst. Make sure to leave suggestions for what you want to see next!!

EDIT: Writing has Resumed Three months after a journey through Hell and fight with a demon, Lydia Deetz' life was threatening to fall back into the very hole she'd just climbed out of.

When Beetlejuice returns, Lydia and the Deetz-Maitlands are prepared for a wild ride, not a request for help. But Beej wants to find his father- and he'll need a certain Scarecrow's assistance. This is my idea of what the sequel Beetlejuice mentions in the musical would look like, so it's set in the musical universe. THIS IS NOT A BEETLEB*BES STORY- Lydia and Beej are just friends.

Just a bunch of this garbage stinky man being cute with the reader. No smut because I'm gross and awkward. Super slow updates. Mostly basing this BJ on the musical, but feel free to imagine whatever you'd like. I also love the "his hair changes based on emotions" idea so we're using that too! Hope you enjoy!
