It's been about a year and a half since Beetlejuice left the Deetz-Maitlands- and quite theatrically. Life is safer, and much calmer- but it's clear that it's gotten bland and boring. And what are the chances a gothy teen feels a little lonely? This is a bit of a slow meet to the characters, but the gist is Beetlejuice comes back, and he finds a starving girl on the streets (Wow, it's you, with the sob story! Who would've guessed??) and brings you to the Maitlands in a wave of consideration and your life takes off from there. (And yeah, the story mainly centers on softening our ghost with the most. PS, hope you don't mind being someone who identifies with she/they pronouns, and has the structure of a female!)
