Genre: Paranormal • Psychological Mystery • Romantic Suspense. Evan was just another overworked 21-year-old, driving home from a long night at his ad agency when sleep got the better of him. One blink, and his world changed. He wakes up on a deserted street in a city that looks half-destroyed, under a sky that doesn't look real. No sound. No people. Just fog... and the hum of a car engine coming straight for him. Running for his life, Evan escapes into a forest where a faint golden light calls him deeper. It leads him to an old mansion one that shouldn't exist, and yet feels strangely familiar. Inside waits a man who claims he's been expecting him. And somewhere in the shadows of that house... a woman whose face Evan can almost remember. Now, trapped in a world that feels like a dream he can't wake up from, Evan must follow the light before the darkness finds him first.

He isn't normal. He is cursed. He is dangerous. That's what they always say. Though, they are right, Tweek isn't normal. When he has dreams, they come to life. Unfortunately, his nightmares come a reality as well. This fanfic is highly based off the horror movie 'Before I Wake'. Most of these events happened in the movie.

In this story I will be analyzing how Compassion is a trending theme of Millennial horror movies using the movie "Before I Wake" as my main example.
