here, i place the words i am unable to express. let this be my comfort zone, a place where i vent out all my hidden feelings. it won't necessarily touch hearts, it won't necessarily meet standards but it will be my place. where i lay and where i feel at ease.

I've recently started to write and wanted to make it public. So enjoy!

basic poem ⛄️

A poem/song for those who are struggling, or feel they are climbing the slippery slope of feeling like a burden. (◍•ᴗ•◍) Remember that even when times are dim you are beautiful and deserve self love, which is what I think this poem is about, though everyone can make their own interpretation. ♡

What if I told you there was a place, not just any place, but a place where all of your dreams would come true? What would you wish for? Money...Fame...Lust? Anyone would wish for any of those things and perhaps even the nice ones would wish to protect their family and friends or make the world a better place. But I'm afraid that's where you and me differ. You see, the world I found is a complicated place, working on a simple system. We all want something no matter how chivalrous and selfless we may be we all stem from greed. However, I don't want anything such as riches or fame, not even to protect and make the world a better place. What I want most, is isolation. To isolate myself somewhere were no one can find me, and where I can be myself. My imagination has been passed away and now not even my mind is safe anymore. Which is why this place is my haven. This is my greed also known as Isolation. Isolation Island, to be exact.
