An image flashed through her head- cold red eyes looking down, sadistic joy flashing across his eyes. A sick smile pulling his lips upwards. "You were the ones who hurt them, weren't you?" She let all the fury she felt seep into her words, her voice dripping with venom. He seemed to falter a moment before realization dawned on him, giving her the answer she was looking for. "I-" "Shut up," Amber interrupted before thrusting her sword into his gut, twisting it for good measure. Leaning foreword, she hissed into his ear, "I will cut all of your kin down, and I will take every ounce of blood your kind leaves in their wake and double it tenfold. Don't fuck with my family again, you understand me?" *** Seraphs, angels, nephilim, and humans are all reliant on the Archangels to keep them safe, to keep the balance between Haven and Hell for thousands of years. But, one day, they disappeared without a trace and the balance was thrown. Demons and Archdemons broke free of their prison, wreaking havoc among humans and Angels alike. Places such as the Garrison and the Institute were established by Angels to keep the peace and try to defeat as many demons as they can, but simply cannot put them back into their prison. But what happens when a new generation steps in; a newer, stronger race of warriors destined to make things right, or die trying. They will fight to protect the ones they love and the world with their final breaths? Or does fate have a different plan for them?
