Living with his grandparents in a backwards country town might help. Meeting Lloyd might help. But Anna won't. Anna, who reminds him of Zoey in two-thousand three-hundred and forty-eight different ways. Anna, who refuses to give up on him. Anna, who is impossible to deal with. She won't help him one bit--he's sure of it.

But he's terrified of putting his uncle and little brother in danger. But when the tyrannical Dr. Robotnik pushes things too far, he's ready to take on whatever. Manic doesn't exactly have anything. And he doesn't think he should care all that much, even if he unfortunately does. But when he's finally given a chance at having purpose, he's ready to do anything to hold onto it. Sonia grew up with a tarnished silver spoon in her mouth. Maybe it's been slowly killing her, but it's attractive to the compliant eye. But when fate and her own memories force her hand, she needs to learn a few things. About the world, and about her own life.
