The Second instalment of the Blood Trilogy. Following Acacia's adventures in Blood and Water; they open the coffin to find that Lydia's body is gone. The only remaining survivors of the base leave for the Elf Kingdom in search of some safety but are separated by a sudden attack. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But, what if the owner doesn't see the beauty that they possess? Sometimes, all it takes is a potential buyer to see the beauty of an unrecognized jewel.

When she's held by your soul, she is clothed in your eyes by perfect judgment, you are her definer.

Dreams are the subconscious way of showing us our deepest secrets, desires, and wishes. Some say they can even predict the future, which is why some dreams are dangerous. Every Beholder must know that, for their task in the community is to monitor everyone's dreams and find potentially dangerous, hence forbidden dreams, dreams that could discard you from the community. Once, a forbidden dream was dreamed by one who couldn't have dreamed it, and now his Beholder will stop at nothing to keep him safe, even if that means escaping into an uncertain fate.

She is rescued by 3 boys, but is taken somewhere else! As her life spirals out of her control, she begins to feel many emotions for the very first time. Everyone says, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." For Hope Snow, she only sees beauty in others. But when it comes to herself, she doesn't see any beauty. Her whole life, she was insecure about how she looked. Little did she know that it would only take one set of eyes of a different beholder to change her perception of herself.
