This is the journal of Leo Corvit. His story of how his life changed when everyone else in the world disappeared. Everyone except an unknown creature that is in search of it's prey. ___________________________________________ This is one of my first completed short stories. There is no escape... From the Eye of the Beholder. A/N: This isn't the first book I've written but I wrote it as an assignment and thought I may as well put something up. I'm not used to uploading or how it works so bare with and any tips would be greatly appreciated. All her life she was told she was beautiful, that she was stunning, and she believed it. All until now, her middle school years, where she struggles with her friends, and tries to make her way into the "popular" group. She really tries, but cant seem to get there. She tries changing her style, personality, and friends until she feels right, but she doesn't. All of this plus, her over-protective mother, and her "by-the-book" family is killing her, so she takes it out on herself. Not by slicing her wrists, or her stomach, but by looking in the mirror, and seeing her "distorted" self.

What is true beauty? If beauty's in the eye of the beholder, how could we all agree on just one thing?

I got a letter. An offer- out of nowhere. A job, and a good one. Government- it would protect my family during tough times. All I had to do was run one small apartment complex...

Love blooms for Mac. He just can't imagine the beautiful girl would feel the same about him.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But, what if the owner doesn't see the beauty that they possess? Sometimes, all it takes is a potential buyer to see the beauty of an unrecognized jewel.

When Claire gets on to the wrong summer camp bus there lays a new adventure she had been longing for. Claire find a secret of her aunt Margaret who has been disowned from the family and only meet Claire as a baby . Claire is willing to do whatever it is to find reunited the family Claire also finds love!

Everyone says, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." For Hope Snow, she only sees beauty in others. But when it comes to herself, she doesn't see any beauty. Her whole life, she was insecure about how she looked. Little did she know that it would only take one set of eyes of a different beholder to change her perception of herself.
