Recently I've read the young adult novel 'the gilded ones' by Namina Forna. I absolutely loved it, but noticed zero fanfiction written about it. So here is my go at it. My story will flow the books timeline but will focus on two different main characters. Hera, Deka's secret protector. And Kai, Keita's elder brother.
