Everyone knows the song Bella Ciao. But in this story, told through diary entries, the background of the words is explored and what tragedy lies behind the lines. A small Italian village is taken over in 1943, but several residents resist. This results in pain and tears.

An impossible heist led by the brilliant mastermind El Profesor. From the perspective of Nairobi (Ágata Jiménez) from the Spanish TV show "La Casa de Papel" ("Money Heist"). Professional counterfeiter, even better friend and optimist. (All credit & inspiration goes to the show!) Almost all of the dialogue is directly from the show. This will be based on the last 9 episodes (specifically part 3, episode 8 - part 4, season 8), but I'll add my own deeper feelings in it, feelings maybe Nairobi felt. It would greatly aid you if you've watched the show because I don't offer much background.

But as his fascist government crumbles and the illusions of grandeur begin to wear off, he begins to wonder if he's fighting for the right side of the war. Invasions fail. Forces are decimated. And then his leader is dead. Sick of the Axis and sick of defeat after crushing defeat, on October 13, 1943, Italy declared war on Germany.
