What if the roles between Bellamy and Clarke were reversed? What if Bellamy had received the nighblood solution instead of Clarke? While Clarke and all of spacekru try to survive in space, Bellamy is left behind in a world of fire. But what they don't realize is the nightblood solution worked. Not only does Bellamy survive the death wave but he isn't nearly as alone as he seems. Basically Bellamy takes the serum and survives with toddler!Madi, while Clarke and the others are in space. And instead of Echo being with the others, Roan is in her place. Lots of grieving, surviving, some Relationships form, while others are grieved at the lost opportunity. Or are they?
