Skye Masuda, descendant of Poseidon and daughter of Hermes, knew her life was bad luck. In fact, she believed she was cursed, due to being descended from the Greek hero, Bellerophon, who had the worst luck. Seemingly, the only good thing about her life was her superspeed; if she wanted, she could zip away from her problems and regrets. But unfortunately, Skye was a demigod and demigods tend to do crazy heroic things; like rushing to a national landmark to save a couple of strangers all because a floating head told her to. She hoped this time, she doesn't mess things up, like how she did in the last huge war she was a part of. [ JASON GRACE x FEM!OC x PIPER MCLEAN ] [ the lost hero - the blood of olympus ] [ creds to @attackjester for the cover! ]

This is a short, one part read. I had to write a short narrative paper for class, and I put this together quick. It's a sloppy tale of the life of Bellerophon, and his achievements. Some stuff is fabricated, to help the truths of the myth fall into place better, but other than that, everything should be factually correct (as far as mythology goes). Right now it's kind of sloppy and everywhere, but I'll clean it up a bit and add more detail where I need too. (I'm also not much of writer, and this is my first work. If you see anything that needs work or that should be fixed, let me know please)

β€’ The word myth comes from the Greek word mythos, which means "story." The Greeks were the greatest storytellers who ever lived, and their stories still provide the ideas for much of our great literature today. Pegasus, winged horse who once inspired poets and writers of old, continues to symbolize the dreams of those who strive for greatness. 🎠(by Barbara Mary Merson)

Who was raised by a she-bear? Who tamed Pegasus? And whatever happened to that Golden Fleece? It takes a demigod to know the answers, and Percy Jackson can fill you in on all the daring deeds of Perseus, Atlanta, Bellerophon, and the rest of the major Greek Heroes. Told in the funny, irreverent style readers have come to expect from Percy (I've had some bad experiences in my time, but the heroes I'm going to tell you about were the original old-school hard-luck cases. They boldly screwed up where no one had screwed up before...) and enhanced with vibrant artwork by Caldecott Honoree John Rocco, this story collection will become the new must-have classic for Rick Riordan's legions of devoted fans-and for anyone who needs a hero. So get your flaming Spear. Put on your lion-skin cape. Polish your shield, and make sure you've got arrows in your quiver. Were going back above four thousand years to decapitate monsters, save some kingdoms, shoot a few gods in the butt, raid the underworld, and steal loot from evil people. Then for dessert, we'll die painful tragic deaths. Ready? Sweet. Let's do this.

Percy's life went to hell. Over 80 years ago for him, he was battered, beaten, and hurt worse by those he called friends. With his parents gone and his final chance at a new life burnt, he leaves. He gets an offer and takes it, leaving Earth and the few left that he loves to begin a new life. He gains a new family and friends, old and new. 80 years later, he returns to save those he loves, to (maybe) rekindle friendships, and to reunite with the Moon. This is a Percy Jackson fanfic. Pictures and characters I use are not mine unless specified.
