In the middle of a session of critical role, Matthew Mercer collapses and finds himself in Aeor surrounded by people he thought were only figments of his friends imagination. Will he be able to find his way home, or will he be stuck in the world that he created?

Disclaimer: I'm working off of vibes, random ideas my subconscious throws at me at ungodly hours when I should be sleeping, and limited bits and pieces of knowledge about the dnd world and critical role canon. Needless to say this probably isn't canon compliant, even when not intended to be a straight up alternate universe scenario. Let's call it creative liberties. (Obviously don't own any of the base material I'm playing with here.) Warnings for child abuse, human trafficking kinda, themes of death, loss and mourning, self-hatred and feelings of worthlessness, suicidal thoughts implied, torture and mistreatment of minors. Overall mental health issues. And the Briarwoods and their followers are their own warning (and responsible for quite a bit of the above).

So this a book I plan on publishing piece meal over a period of time. I'm a fan of TTRPG, and in reflection of that, I will publish it a "session" at a time. For those who are unfamiliar with TTRPG, every night you meet up with everyone is a session where you guys go over a portion of a chapter within the campaign. So instead of promising a whole chapter at a time I will try and publish a "session" at a time. Other than those things I hope you guys enjoy it and even though the publication of these sessions might be somewhat sporadic I will do my best to be involved in the comments and respond when appropriate.
