Artemis symbolises a lot, hunt, virginity, the moon. She was wild and twisted and swore not to loose her virginity to noone. A wild and free dancer, dancing in the moonlight, hunting down everything she wants through her passion, this is kalila. Still, she is not happy

Dance is an art and art is genderless. Who are we to judge how and who should express themselves? Being a male belly dancer is not an easy decision, especially in the society where masculinity is the only norm for men and anything else is considered feminine. But still, at the end, let's hope this changes and only the dance could be judged not the gender of performer or the dance form. Let's hope for acceptance... someday it will come true.
