En la Dimensión 31, una línea temporal donde Hex y Charmcaster lograron conquistar la Tierra. Esto llevó a la trágica muerte de Gwen y a la transformación de Kevin en una criatura de piedra. Ben Tennyson fue derrotado y encarcelado, y Hex intentó arrancarle el Omnitrix. Aunque no pudo quitar el dispositivo, sí logró desactivarlo y grabar una runa mística roja en su dial, dejando a Ben sin poder y a punto de morir. Justo cuando la esperanza parecía perdida, Ben es rescatado por la Resistencia, un grupo liderado por Cooper Daniels y otros Plomeros sobrevivientes.
