Christmas was and always has been a busy period in the Little Kingdom, for elves and fairies alike. Unfortunately, Nanny Plum had a particularly bad cold and needed urgent rest. Ben and Holly, now as King and Queen, faced a dilemma of who would take place to babysit their children. The twin's aunts, Daisy and Poppy came to the rescue, and everything went downhill from there.

The King and Queen of the Little Kingdom do not take kindly to elves. Elves are lower-class citizens that don't commonly get along with the upper-class fairies. However, this all changes when the twelve-year-old heir to the throne, Holly, meets a twelve-year-old elf named Benjamin. Will the unlikely pair of friends convince the King & Queen to take some of the pressure they caused off of the elves? Or will they be ostracized and forced to never meet again? Only time will tell.
