Two ruined summers. One empty campus. The ultimate forbidden line. Stranded on an empty college campus while their partners head to a summer by the coast, a homesick Aussie fighting for her student visa and an injured star athlete fighting for his career form a reluctant alliance. Chance Colt was living his best life as professional baseball player. That all came crashing down after he was in a car accident last year. As he was recovering from his injuries, he had to watch a rookie find success in his position. After a hard fought battle in spring training, he lost his position to that rookie. Now he's stuck watching his team from the bench and he can't even hit the baseball. Lacey Lane is a familiar face in Chance's past and comes back in with more determination that ever to stay there. She strongly believes that they belong together and desperately wants Chance to give them a shot. She leaves Chance conflicted more than ever what direction his life is going in. He finds himself clinging to the sport he's dedicated his life to and tempted by the girl he has always turned down.

Being such a stellar athlete does come with its perks... Popularity, acknowledgement, validation, you get the gist. Neglecting your grades does come with a price though, as Lynn is no longer able to participate in anymore sports until she gets them up. Lynn was not one to have or want to rely on another person, she was always an independent, carefree spirit. But in order to go back to being the athletic powerhouse everyone knew her as, she must suck up her pride and take the help of her newly appointed tutor, 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝗼.
