Blanche La Trémoïlle is the only daughter of a French duke with five brothers (four older than her and one younger than her) she goes to Londen with her brothers for the social season on her second year out in hopes of finding a love match hopefully someone who can't be easily scared away by her brothers who are very much overprotective Anthony Bridgerton knows that love exists but he also knows that he will die soon for he believes that he would never surpass his late father even in age but as the the head of his family his duty is to marry and have an heir so he decides that he will marry one one condition his marriage will never be out of love and he is to never fall in love with his wife (I don't own the Bridgerton books, tv series or characters except the La Trémoïlle family and this story)
