we approach the cliff, our breath quickening. cameron reaches there first, glowing with boyish exuberance. he tries to get a better view of whatever it is down there. his foot nears the edge of it and he shuffles yet closer to the edge, his face showing no wrinkle of fear whatsoever. behind me, i hear rhian mumbling incoherently. suddenly, my eyes direct themselves the ground beneath us. Ilsa has been suffering for months after a particularly haunting mission in America. You can't trust anybody these days, that's what they tell us. They tell us that the IMF are trouble; but, then again, aren't we all? Stuck in rut, hoping our darkest fears won't bubble to the surface. My own version of Mission: Impossible. Plot Summary: (Read the prologue)

Agent Ruby Gerard is the youngest member of the IMF with her 17th birthday taking place only a month ago. But due to her high placement at the FBI training academy and flawless testing scores to show for it, she has become the newest IMF trainee. Due to the caliber of the mission she is currently deep undercover in the German embassy for, the team is testing her abilities. Will she let nerves and her age get to her, or will she pull through and become a permanent member of the team?

After a mission went completely wrong, Maya takes the blame for her team, although it wasn't her fault at all. Someone sabotaged the mission from within the IMF, but Maya had no choice but go rogue / underground. Trained by Ethan Hunt who also was part of the failed mission, she knows how to use her skills to survive after the IMF disavowed her. Ethan tried to reinstate her and clear her, but to no avail. With the IMF leaving her out in the cold, her survival tactics become more and more superior and she turns into a silent assassin: Ninja.
