He's just the new kid, right? Well, it's a little more complicated than that. Always bruised, hiding behind long sleeves and constantly scribbling words in a notebook, Dan is a bit of a mystery. And of course, the last thing he wants in three guys poking around in his personal secrets. But as they grow more determined, Dan may just find that they're what he's needed all along. The boys have a run-in with a crazy (like, really crazy) fangirl. What follows is a high-speed chase through an old, abandoned ghost town, involving bikes and rope and rusty ladders, dumpsters, and climbing warehouses. And literal rings of fire. Total crackfic. Mild violence, no explicit content of any kind.

How I Became A Firebreather is based off a personal life of mine through my love for the fandom of Imagine Dragons , Firebreathers. Imagine Dragons have always been part of my life and as you go through with me this journey , you will find out interesting things about the band as well as through my ups & downs in this fandom. Imagine Dragons is one of the most popular bands of this generation, although missing a singer. They've never been able to find someone who feels right and leaves them not feeling empty. They don't know why. They might discover it when they meet Dan Reynolds, a waiter in England who smiles bittersweetly and knows things they swore they never mentioned in interviews. So who is he? Why is he so familiar yet so strange? (This is very vaguely inspired by the Doctor Who episode Hell Bent. Especially the first chapter. Because I am trash.)

Like The Dark which keeps eating her from the inside and leaving Kylie like a shell of a human. Or all those scars which aren't expressed physically. But she also has a special connection to her favorite band, Imagine Dragons. A piece of history is left behind them, forgotten and thrown into the trash can. Because as she listens to their songs and watches their interviews, she can't keep herself wondering: How many years can you hate a person? She goes to a concert and by a single night, things change for Ben McKee.

From playing small bars and casinos in their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada to sold out arenas around the world, Imagine Dragons look back at the road to fame. Going back to their roots, from living in a house with little to no furniture with no money to rarely being in their own homes, fame giving them more money than they would imagine, along with endless touring. They've had their ups and downs, but they managed, and look how far they've come.

It's the day of the Grammys and everything goes well. But then something happens. They have to stay together to make it through it.
