Natalia Hawthorne was born and raised in Derbyshire by her widowed, but wealthy mother. When betrayal shatters her engament, she is sent by her mother to her distant cousins house in Hertfordshire for a breath of fresh air where she navigates the path of truth and pain. A/N: I only own Natalia and Mrs. Hawthorne. All other characters belong to Jane Austen. This story loosley follows the events for the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie with my own twists. There is some language and depending on what I decide to do, possibly some sex scenes.

I have wanted so much to write a modern version of P&P, and after battling on whether I should write a college or high school version, I finally settled on high school.
