Summary: Elijah must admit, of all the years he had woken up from a sleep since the day he became a vampire, he had thought that there was nothing in this world that could ever surprises him anymore. That's what Elijah thinks eternity is, a sense of inability to be surprise by the world. Only of course, with eternity comes the knowledge of how naïve for him to think of such thing.
