This story takes place after the events of The Last Jedi. Both Kylo and Rey need a place to escape to and, clear their minds from all the events that have happened recently. They both end up finding themselves escaping to the same planet where they face more challenges and danger that they have to face together. (Btw this is my first Fan Fiction so sorry if it is not that great x3)

This is a reylo fanfic! I literally can't help myself cause like I miss ben too much, so I decided to heal my wound, partially, don't really want to hint anything in the description so all I have to say is, reylo. that's it.

Set in the 14th century, king Ben from Ireland makes England a new ally when the king and queen of England offer king Ben their daughter, Rey's hand in marriage. The problem is that king Ben is a known heartless, unforgiving king. Rey faces the challenge of proving herself as the future queen of Ireland to the people and most of all, Ben. (Some chapters are long, some are short) This does NOT follow my other Star Wars fan fics. This is its own separate thing with Rey & Ben. I did not use any other character from Star Wars besides them nor are any characters based on any other Star Wars characters. It has some themes from "Beauty & The Beast" in it. Warning: There is war, blood and the subject of violence with a man against a woman. If that is triggering for you, please PLEASE do not read ahead. If you can handle it, then please read but I do not want to hurt anyone's mental health and well-being. This is a medieval story. The war and blood stuff are minor in this story but there is a book scene near the end where a man slaps a woman and aims a sword near her throat. This is not between the female and the male lead but a side character and the female lead. you can also read this on a03!!!!

A few weeks ago, the district sent an email alerting everyone to the new principal at Starlight Elementary, Ben Solo, who has a Bachelor's in Special Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership... good god, from Northwestern. Safe to say whoever this man was, he was educated. Rey attempted to stalk his LinkedIn; keyword attempted. She found nothing. Facebook, Instagram... all of it completely empty. She was nervous, and ugh, add refilling her Zoloft prescription to the list of things she needed to do. Time waits for no one, and apparently neither does 4th grade. As much as she tried to put school out of her mind, it kept wandering back. Rey knew she'd soon be getting an email with her class roster and was deathly afraid of being unprepared; lesson planning needed to start now, and she had mandatory in-person training at the school tomorrow. I know you all know the story of Luke Skywalker, and about Rey as well, but this story is focused on a time before Rey and after the death of Darth Vader. In this story, we find out, what if Luke Skywalker had a son he didn't know about from a short relationship he had back on Tatooine (before his aunt and uncle were killed)!

Hope is not a feeling. It is a choice. Luke Skywalker has been making it his whole life. When Rey arrives on Ahch-To, she expects a legend. What she finds is more valuable - a teacher who has stared into the darkness and refused, stubbornly and at great personal cost, to blink. Alongside Han Solo, very much alive and characteristically impossible, Luke trains her in the ways of the Force, and begins to remember who he is. Far across the galaxy, Kylo Ren serves the First Order. Obeys Snoke. Tries not to feel the pull of something he cannot name - a presence, warm and fierce and infuriatingly persistent, that reaches him even across the stars. Then comes a moment that nobody planned, and nobody will forget. In the chaos of Snoke's throne room, Rey and Kylo fight side by side - and for a few extraordinary, heartbreaking minutes, Ben Solo almost comes home. Almost. The Resistance survives. Luke steps back into the light. And Rey, racing across the galaxy on the Falcon with people she has come to love, begins to understand that what she feels for Ben Solo is something she cannot outrun. She's not entirely sure she wants to. The ground shifts. The second chapter of a retelling - written in collaboration with two roleplayers, whose distinctive voices gave life mainly to Ben/Kylo, and to Leia and Han. As for myself, I chiefly voiced Luke and Rey. All other characters have been performed in turn, according to the needs. Disclaimer: all original images have been AI-generated.

Can Ben and Rey find each other in time? Kylo's death ignited a new force no one expected; and the only thing that can stop it, is the dyad itself. (A TROS alternate ending. I do not own any of the characters!) *** NOTICE: This is a SLOW BURN "reylo" romance. As alluded to in the title and description, there are other forces at play, and while their relationship is at the center of the story, it's not the only important aspect. I strive to be as realistic as possible, and to do the characters justice, as well as the Star Wars franchise. When I decided to write this, I wanted to write a book that I could feasibly see on-screen. If you enjoy Star Wars for more than just "reylo", you will enjoy this book!
