After the fall of the First Order, Rey and her friends work to rebuild the galaxy and guide a new Jedi Order. But when she learns of an ancient artifact said to open the World Between Worlds, Rey embarks on a mission that could heal the wound in the Force-and possibly heal her broken dyad.

For five years, Rey lived alone, a prisoner of her own amnesia, obeying the cryptic instructions of a letter left in her isolated bunker. But the galaxy's conflict pulls her from her solitude, forcing her to confront the First Order and a dangerous connection with Kylo Ren. After the big fight against Palpatine and the Final Order, there isn't any time to take a break. People need help all over the galaxy and a New System must be reestablished. While Rey desperately tries to talk to Ben's Force Ghost, she doesn't have time to concentrate on it either. Her future as a Jedi Master lies ahead. Rey finds Jedis, lightsabers, friends and enemies; discovers truths, stories and secrets. All these distractions in one aim: forget her grief and ancestor. Poe creates plans to prove that he can be the next General. Finn wants to protect Rey from her Dark Side and repeatedly tries to make her understand his secret. In the Council, he defends the fate of the stormtroopers though many in the Resistance seek the destruction of the rebuilding Empire more. Is there any way to bring Ben Solo back? Something Rey nor Ben dare to think. Nevertheless it's obvious that it is what both of them want the most in the darkest place of their hearts. After watching "The Rise of skywalker" , many of us have wondered what would have happened if Ben Solo had lived. Would he have been caught and imprisoned? Would he have been sentenced to die, or rather shown mercy? Or would he have begun a new jedi order with Rey? Those things were left to our minds to imagine. Either way, I think it would have been a hard fate for him, given his conflicted nature and what he had done. Here is my version of the story. I'll try to make it look less like a fanfiction, and more like real star wars content. Ben had made it out alive after the Battle of Exegol. But after all the crimes he did, and after the justice the resistance has sought to bring to the galaxy, he knows just too well he would not be allowed to live a peaceful life again, so he is forced to live in exile. Him and Rey are back on Takodana, hidden in the deep forests of the green planet. But the worst hasn't come yet: after their Force is drained by the Emperor, after they give a great part of themselves to save each other, something strange happens: neither of them can feel the force anymore. The question is, will those acts be the last we have seen of them? With the New Empire rising again to power, led by the ruthless General Pryde and guided by another dark entity, and the resistance being shadowed by revenge on Kylo Ren, Rey and Ben are the only light that remains in the Galaxy. They are the ones said to bring the balance, so they must focus on the Force. But will they ever feel it again? And with the strange feelings that occur between them, will they find the path to the Light, or go astray from it as Ben's grandfather did in the past for the same reason? Solos, Palpatines or Skywalkers...
