Finding a new life for herself as a droid mechanic, Maren traveled the galaxy doing whatever jobs she could to support herself. On a part run to Jakku, Maren stumbled upon resistance pilot Poe Dameron who brought her into the resistance and inadvertently dragged Kylo Ren back into Maren's life.
