He was either "too soft" or "too kind" his mother would always tell him. While his friends chased chaos and validation from their parents. He did what he knew best. Stay quiet , stay small and be ready to serve his mother But soon everything would change for him and his friends. They were selected to be the first villain kids to attend Auradon Prep. For the first time Carlos was met with emotions and feelings he had never felt before. They were strange and confusing to him. He only ever felt these things when he was in the presence of one special person prince ben. Ben was charming, kind, helpful. And so confusing to Carlos. He'd never been treated the way Ben treated him before and that left him in a spiral of unknown emotions. Maybe this was what he needed. Maybe Ben was going to be the one to show Carlos something he didn't know he'd been craving for so long. Between stolen glances , melted chocolate and he's darkest fears Carlos begins to question everything his mother raised him to believe. Maybe he was worth more than just being a servant. This story is a slow-burn romance from Carlos's POV. It follows him as he discovers things he didn't know he's needed his whole life.

Benjamin Beast is the wealthy son of Belle and Adam Beast. He is currently dating Harry Hook and has been for nearly a year now. Carlos De Vil is the son of Cruella De Vil. He is currently dating Jay and has been for the past two years. Ben and Carlos are best friends who secretly have always wanted to be more. But the plan that Maleficent had assigned to them, and the fact that Audrey is still Ben's girlfriend gets in the way, and he decides to bury his feelings. But a small hiccup interrupts the whole plan when Mals love cookie makes Ben fall in love with Carlos! Running out of time, they decide to let Carlos go with it, and in the middle of all of it, he realizes his true feelings for Ben. But a big mistake from Mal leads to the destruction of Ben's life that Carlos tries to fix, which leads to dire situations.

The VKs are a four-part singing group made up of Mal, Carlos, Evie, and Jay. They live a hard life trying to strike it big in Isle City. Their lives are changed forever after being invited to play at the biggest celebration of the century, especially for a very famous prince and a VK. Modern Music Group mixed with a Cinderella Story of sorts.

Carlos has been struggling to readjust to life back on the Isle and he is vastly regretting going this far back in time. After being reinvited back to Auradon, Carlos reconnects with the Fairy Sazana who informs him that things aren't quite the same as it was the first time around and that he's the only one that can fix everything before it completely falls apart. Carlos is determined to put things the way they were and get Ben to fall in love with him all over again, but this time it won't be so easy. As quickly as it happens, Carlos finds himself losing the memory of the original timeline and forgets what he's supposed to be doing. If he forgets it all, will he be able to fix everything? Will he be able to get Ben to love him again? In this book, Time has the last say in everything.

The city of Auradon has many Secrets, but only one truly tells the real story. Will this be an end to a great love or to a start to an everblooming friendship? Life and love will end; allies will become whole. For we are the keys to the kingdom key and it's Vault of Secrets .
