This is a story a girl and she tells her story from the time she was a little girl to a teenager. A lot of things happen in her life between her mom being a cheat and her dad working all the time. The mom and the daughter seem to have a hard time getting along. Her mom wants to spend all her dad's money to go buy drugs and get high all day. Her mom doesn't listen to her her dad is two busy to listen. Her mom's ex boyfriend wants to make her do drugs. The daughter is very strong to life with this. Does not make this her life she makes her own life. She is what she is. I am what I am. The story of me.

I closed the door to my room, and waited for a slam. I could feel my cancer coming back again, but to finally be back in my room again took away all of the horrish feelings and replaced them with wonderful ones. Suddenly I hear a small creak "Are you happy to be home?" said my mom peeking through the doorway. "Yes, for sure." I say back. I notice a small tapping sound every second or so, and notice someone is walking in the hallway towards me. "Amelia?!" I squeal. "CHARLOTTE!" she screams back at me, so loud that I quickly close my ears. It has been so hard, these last few months. I was in the hospital for exactly 103 days. Over 3 months of my love was spent on treating a disease that I didn't even know I had until 6 months ago, when it was only minor. "I am so happy to see you! How have you been?" I say to Amelia, pushing my chopped hair, due to my cancer, out of my face. "I've been okay, it would have been much better if I could have seen you more..." "I know, they just didn't want it to get worse." I start to think about the time that I got the news that I have cancer. I remember my expressons getting lesser and lesser as I spent more time in the hospital, where the doctors were trying to fix me. But I'm here now. Back at the place that I've wanted to be for the past 103 days of my life. How am I possibly going to make up for all of the time I lost. I'm going to have to try to get my life back one piece at a time. My friends. My grades. My family. My normality. Everything. But I know that it'll happen, because with Amelia on my side I can do anything, my best friend does something any best friend does, gives you confidence to be yourself. I am going to go to school on monday and show everyone my hair even though it's been chopped. I'm gonna share my story to everyone who asks without being ashamed of the tremendous pain it put me through. Because I am not ashamed of the horribleness I've overcome. I am a fighter and I'm gonna keep fighting till I can't.
