In 2017, the Chaldea Security Organization draws on experts of both the magical and mundane fields to observe the future of mankind for possible extinction events. Humanity's survival seems assured for the next century, or so they thought at least. As of 2018, humanity will have no future. Que the scramble as Chaldea rushes to find a solution. And they have it. Armed with a means of restoring human order, they recruit several master candidates to help take humanity's future back. This is the first tale in that journey, this Grand Order.

This is a record of the last true Holy Grail War. To date this was the most dangerous Grail War hosting a cast of gods and divines.

Nevertheless, Polaris and Ivanna are devoted to freeing Nadia without her having to fight for it in the Annual Slave Arena. But as oppression weighs heavier on Nadia's shoulders, she begins to slip through their fingers, leaning toward signing up against their advice to wait. Will Polaris and Ivanna be able to keep Nadia from signing up for the Annual Slave Arena before they can free her? Will they even be able to free her without her fighting in the arena?

Not only does she have to participate in the war, but she has to keep the Darkness sealed in her or else it will be the end of her and the world.
