Hey guys! So, this is the reincarnation story of my ReiBert trilogy, the stories consisted of "Academy of the Artist", "Keeping a Strong Performance", and "The Final Act". These stories aren't necessarily important to this story so don't worry about reading those if you haven't. Anyhow, Bertolt is a happy, married man with a young child and a great job. His wife, however, abuses drugs and she isn't happy with him so she up and leaves him, causing him to nearly break but he can't due to the fact that his child needs him. He continues to go to work and let's his child stay at a daycare during the day. Everything just seemed like it was falling apart until Bertolt went to pick up his daughter and met the new guy working there that shot a feeling of familiarity through him. However, Reiner just so happens to be in a very committed relationship with a girl. Triggers possibly.

Loosely based off of my interpretation of the song Roman Holiday by Halsey. (Multiple ships) Bertolt Hoover's life had been rather happy. His family was in tact, his adoptive brother was a good friend of his, and everyone loved him. He had grown up in the church along with his friends and never found himself doing anything wrong. Being one of the nicest people around, him and Marco were given the responsibility to welcome every new student when they arrived. Reiner Braun was a bad kid, and was rather rude to those around him. Bertolt had never been a social person, but Reiner just seemed like he needed a friend.
