Some people leave with a goodbye.
Some leave with a phone call that echoes long after the line goes silent.
The Address of Peace is a poem about waiting, hope, thirty-two unforgettable minutes, and a city that became the witness to an almost-love. It is about finding comfort in a single voice, holding on to words that still linger like an unfinished melody, and secretly wishing to become someone's safest place.
This is for everyone who has stared at their phone a little longer, replayed a conversation a thousand times, and wondered if they ever crossed another person's mind the way that person never left theirs.
Perhaps we are not meant to be someone's first love.
But maybe, just maybe, we can become their last address of peace.
