Max is a girl that has family issues. Her parents are always fighting, her younger sister is getting frequently sick, and her older brother has to go off to collage. She has a big passion for singing, but is very bad at song-writing. So her best friend, Ethan, is there for her and help her not only to persue her dream of becoming a public singer, but also to deal with her problems at home. Max feels welcomed in his home everytime she enters it, and she knows that Ethan, even if he has a perfect family, understands her the best. After Ethan promisses her to never forget her over someone else, Max knows that they are going to be best friends for life and is very grateful for him. But once he gets a girlfriend, Max feels more and more outsided and lonely, as she sees Ethan slowly forgeting her and their passion for singing and song-writing.
