Later in the story she and her best friend get into a fight main character will start hanging out with another girl and closer to the end the make up with her other friend (maybe). Main characters parents are divorced and she is living with her mother and brother. Mother starts to date a new guy who main character does not like in the beginning but in the end she's okay with him. Main character goes through lots of ups and downs.
