Four years had passed since the death of Manny Noceda. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. "I'll never be good enough for you," she said.

Lucia can't quite remember what happened, one moment she was talking with her friends, and then the next thing you know someone who was abnormaly tall with rich and wealthy looking clothes came over and blind folded her, and her friends. She could barely even fight back, The strength difference was incredible along with the height. Now she's in what looks like a cafeteria with very VERY Tall and wealthy looking people, some with capes, some with Armour. All of them looking at her, and other people who were captured to.

Luz moves in with her mom's old friend Eda from collage and starts school at a high school for gifted kids. But when she learns she's not on a full scholarship, she has to find a way to make enough money to stay there. No where seems to be offering a job that pays well enough to make the money before the deadline. Soon though, she finds herself taking an interesting job working for Eda. Beta Lumity Luz and Amity enemies till the end. Hexside school starts up and this year Amity being a blight messes with luzs feelings. Luz knowing she is in love with the blight flirts offers her Love and Amity throws it away as if it's nothing. finally when Luz starts drifting away from Amity that's when Amity realizes Luz wasn't teasing her.

Beta Luz and Amity have one of their daily midnight fights but ended up getting the guards called on them and had to flee, but before going home they decide to go steal a traffic cone.

In this story amity's aromantic and when a clumsy idiot comes to her school, she begins to fall for them. After many years without liking someone, how come this one person catches her eye. (Okay this is not the BEST description, but it has to do for now until i figure out a better one) This is my first fanfic so be nice and constructive criticism is welcome, this is also a bit of a slowburn with "enemies" to "friends" to "lovers" trope. Oh they are also 17, they have there beta designs and also kind of their personality's.
