Following a three month long tour and being away for nearly a year, Luz Noceda was finally back in California. Living in her "aunt" Eda's house, she only intended to ride her motorcycle and hang out with her friends, Willow and Gus, all summer. That was until she got paid six hundred dollars a week to befriend the upcoming musician and pop punk princess, Amity Blight, who just so happened to move in right across the street. This is a fic loosely inspired by a mix of early 2000s and modern day pop culture, style, music, and nostalgia for the 2016 era. Additionally, this fic is more centered around specific musicians rather than their entire band, unlike a traditional band au. Enjoy.

Four years had passed since the death of Manny Noceda. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. "I'll never be good enough for you," she said.

While they used to be enemies now turned friends (and close ones at that), Amelia finds herself wishing her and Lucia were more than that. Only problem is she doesn't want to possibly ruin one of the only actual good things in her life. Other problem is that Lucia is a bit dense when it comes to romantic feelings that go beyond careless flirting and teasing.

My heart has always felt cold and empty. I never experienced love. But that all changed when I saw her warm eyes. In this story amity's aromantic and when a clumsy idiot comes to her school, she begins to fall for them. After many years without liking someone, how come this one person catches her eye. (Okay this is not the BEST description, but it has to do for now until i figure out a better one) This is my first fanfic so be nice and constructive criticism is welcome, this is also a bit of a slowburn with "enemies" to "friends" to "lovers" trope. Oh they are also 17, they have there beta designs and also kind of their personality's.

The characters are 18 This is my first story so it's boutta be a lil... awful Amity is fresh outta high school and wants nothing to do with anyone but her close friends. Even they piss her off sometimes. But when this god-awful "Luz" girl sneaks into her life, she doesn't know how to feel about her.

Growing up wasn't easy, Luz knew that. Life was always constantly throwing stuff her way, either good or bad, but it was never easy. Being called a "weirdo" most of her life made it difficult for her to get herself out there. But once she heard that her mom got a new job somewhere else and far away, gave her hope. (Modern au) - - This is placed during lile season one 1 i guess, amity still has her green hairstyle and she never got into her rebellious phase yet. This is also placed in Colorado but the town she is in bonesborough. they are about about 17, They have their beta looks but not so much of their personality's . Luz is attending hexside college starting from now on and needs to get settled, so while she is trying to get her schedule and other things sorted out, she bumps into a very pretty lady which she soon finds out is her roommate. Luz moves in with her mom's old friend Eda from collage and starts school at a high school for gifted kids. But when she learns she's not on a full scholarship, she has to find a way to make enough money to stay there. No where seems to be offering a job that pays well enough to make the money before the deadline. Soon though, she finds herself taking an interesting job working for Eda.
