A cool breeze swept up dark hair, making it dance along rope. Its owner, clothed in nothing but rough scraps of burlap, the tobacco company's marking faded along the seam. His eyes slowly flickering open and closed as he tried to regain focus. His body felt heavy. Flexing his sore muscles and coming to a curious discovery, he seemed to be...flying? No, no that does't seem right. He blinked frequently to try to clear his vision. As he began to shake his head in an attempt to shake off the fuzziness, in both mind and vision, he felt the rope ring around his neck and remembered finally with startling clarity.... This is bound to be a hell of a school year." Hello reader -and hopefully OM fan- and welcome to the start of my "One Master to Love Them All" fanfiction series. I'm posting this as a sort of experiment. Or perhaps we could call it a sort of beta test. I've decided to work on this project for NaNoWriMo. The progress I make during NaNoWriMo will be published here. I will try to get some editing done before publishing what I get done here so it isn't horribly painful to read, but please don't expect a polished piece for some time. The Deets: This is a fanfic based off my playthrough of the mobile game, Obey Me. This won't just be a straight copy and paste of the game's script. I will be taking creative liberties with my MC's responses to better fit her character, adding on to scenes that sort of just leave things up to your imagination, adding new scenes based on things mentioned in the chat stories, etc. Seeing as this is a game where the player is the MC, Nyx's character will be based on how I played the game, characteristics given to MC by the game developers, and my own personality. She won't be a carbon copy of me, mind you. For now, I'm going to rate this fic 17+ for some strong language, some violence, and various adult situations. There will be no smut, but certain intimate acts may be implied should they happen in this stretch. I'll add warnings for any major triggers as I go. Well, that's all I have about this for now.
