The Starship Voyager becomes trapped in the Delta Quadrant. The crew try to navigate the problems of being in a Quadrant that's so unexplored. Lt. Commander T'Rina Semara is the Second Officer and a Vulcan/Betazoid hybrid, the first one in Starfleet's history. T'Rina formed a bond with Harry Kim and B'Elanna Torres after they were taken by the Caretaker, she also becomes friends with Tom Paris. T'Rina and B'Elanna bond over their mixed culture, B'Elanna being a Klingon/Human and T'Rina being a Vulcan/Betazoid. What happens when T'Rina falls in love with Tom Paris?
