She becomes intrigued by the other new kid and decides it would be nice to get to know him as it seems no one else will. Friendship, fluff, and found families ensue. Betelgeuse was supposed to go back to the Netherworld after bidding farewell to the Maitland-Deetzes, he wasn't supposed to be stuck - his soul trapped - in the house forever.
