They all thought the CDC would be a good choice....it wasn't. Danika almost didn't make it...she almost didn't want to. But that stupid redneck pulled her from her own stupid decision and she lived on...she had to begrudgingly thank him eventually. But now where do they go? As medical school was Joana's life before her fathers passing she put her sister first even when she didn't need it. As a little girl Joana's sister never had a mother figure since her mother since she died in child birth. Joana tried her best but all she could do was be the big sister while their father worked.
