Finally it's Bella that has to leave and she was brought into another orphanage. From then on the Harmon twins never saw eachother again. Bella is in the other orphanage all on her own. Nobody she knows by her side. Without her twin sister Beth. But still with the same love for chess. She tries to teach herself the complex game by playing with herself or other children and reading all kinds of chess books and magazines. Almost a year after Russia, Beth Harmon returned to her bad habits. Drinking, smoking and ofcourse iridium. She pushed everyone away that she knew and maybe most of all, Benny Watts. With the little determination to live she has left she tries to rebuild bridges with her friends and lovers. And of course this doesn't go without ups and downs and a lot of chess. I fell in love with the queens gambit a week ago and literally ordered the book right after, because I'm not ready move on from this serie yet. I immediately fell in love with Benny Watts the second Beth walked up those stairs where she met him. ofcourse Benny wasn't the endgame and I wasn't happy about that so I started to write this fanfic. I hope I'm not the only one who ships benny and Beth over Townes and Beth. I don't own the characters! Amazingly written by Walter Tevis and directed by Scott Frank.

Beth Harmon had defeated Borgov at the Moscow Invitational tournament and the whole world changed for her. She decided to stay in Moscow and see what opportunities presented themselves to her. After all she was now surely going to be counted as one of the world leading chess players of her generations and Moscow was these days ranked as the unofficial capital of elite tournament chess.

This story is of Beth Harmon in 'The Queens Gambit.' ( The Netflix original ) None of these characters belong to me, and I am only using them for writing purposes. I hope you enjoy this book and what I interpret what happened between Benny Watts and Beth Harmon !

Since it doesn't look like we will be getting a second season of the queens gambit, I decided to write a sort of epilogue to the end of the series of what I think happened in regards to Beth and benny. (Remember this is MY opinion on what happened and I know everyone has different opinions on it but I decided to turn mine into a story) but anyway this is what I would like to think is what happened and I hope you enjoy!!
