Christ is born this day with Bethlehem's poor. He is lowly with royal ancestry, born of David's revered noble gentry. Men's grievous sins His blue blood atoned for. Christ is born this day with Bethlehem's poor. He came to earth with men to empathize. With us for each state he does sympathize. Our peace with God He came down to restore. Christ is born this day with Bethlehem's poor. A unifying force who will world peace make. Men of different races sing to adore this Christ child who will their cleavages break. Christ was numbered with the poor at birth, and with the transgressors at death.

Drops of rain splattered against her skin, seeping into the depths of her soul. The sound of the roaring thunder, did no justice in making her slip from whatever reverie she was in, the heaviness in her chest felt like a ton of bricks. The misery and anguish she felt was in immerse contradiction to the sight of the lovely lilies and marigolds around her which held immerse life and beauty. The beauty of the clearing,which usually left her fascinated and speechless did not seem as beautiful and lovely as it once had. No it couldn't have, not anymore. Letting out a cry of anguish, she collapsed to the fertile soil, gripping her most definite loveliest gown, she let out a tear of great sorrow, and soon there was another tear, and then another, up until she could feels the sobs racking through her chest. Screeching at the top of her lungs, she could only think of one thing. He was dead, her brother was dead, Jesus was dead Christ was gone

We all know about the holiday of Christmas. The presents , Christmas trees, Santa Clause and being together with our friends and families. But this a story of the very first Christmas and how how it all began.

Sarah has lived in the small town of Bethlehem for all her life of fifteen years. She's been one of the two town weavers for four of those, along with her cousin Miriam. Sarah, like many others, has been told of the Promised Messiah, the Savior of her people. If there was any time they needed Him, it was now. The Romans have occupied Israel, and now their Emperor wants to take a census to tax them all. Little does Sarah know, the census will be the vehicle of the salvation of Bethlehem...and all of Israel. A six part historical fiction.
