Not wanting to be just another dead girl Beth asks Daryl to teach her how to survive in this new world. Working together he brings her to life and gives her the confidence she needs. She gives him love and a calm that he didn't know he needed. Together they balance each other with the light and the dark. (My take on Beth if she had shown more sass early on. Personally I think her character could have been a great story to tell)

Daryl Dixon is a farm hand working for Hershel Greene on a small farm in Georgia. The Greene farm becomes much more interesting when the young Beth Greene comes to stay for the summer. A/U NO ZOMBIES I only own Brittany -unfortunately- for now. Credit of all the other characters goes to Robert Kirkman and all those other important noobs from AMC who are making us wait until October.

Just a recollection of songs that I think suit their relationship perfectly. Each song will have an explanation as to why I consider it's fitting for Bethyl and a link. I recommend you listen to these songs while reading fan fics or re-watching Bethyl episodes. Long live the songbird and the archer.

Music AU. Beth Greene is a young, aspiring musician, spending late nights singing in dimly-lit bars with an acoustic guitar resting over her lap and a smile on her face. Daryl Dixon is in his usual position: seated on a high stool with a glass of cheap liquor in his hand. When he witnesses a blonde angel singing onstage Daryl lies about being part-owner of the music label Rick & Co. Music to talk to her. Daryl is drawn to this girl, unable to shake the feeling of compulsion. And Beth is entranced by the sight of the older, enigmatic man watching her sing from across the bar. What starts out as an unlikely pairing turns into something much more in the dark corner of a sleazy bar.

This will start when Season 5 comes out(October 12). I will be writing my thoughts on each episode and my predictions for the next episode here.

So this is Beth and Daryl's story. Follows a similar story line of the show but with a twist when Daryl and Beth get separated. I wanted to make a story more realistic to the characters.
