Ford, a deck officer is betrayed by his comrades and killed on the flight deck as the ship sinks with the rest of the fleet. The man was suspected of being the traitor that crippled combat bombers onboard. While the rest of the fleet sunk a surviving destroyer picked up the other survivors. But as it was leaving the area where the carrier sunk was light up. Suddenly beams come up from the places where friendly ships sank. What happened? What were the beams? Why was a officer suspected of being a traitor. These questions will be answered in this book.
