In the dusty classrooms of Kiambu, a silent war is being waged. On one side stands Idris, the "Ice King"-the brilliant, arrogant school representative who rules with high grades and a cold stare. On the other is Ivan, the "Shadow"-a smirking genius who plays by his own rules. Caught in the middle is Amira. Once mocked as the "girl from the North" who couldn't speak the language, she has transformed from a 0% student into a scholar who threatens the boys' throne. While she and her best friend Muna find refuge in the "delulu" world of BTS, the boys find refuge in their rivalry. But behind the classroom hijabs-tugging and the 4 AM study texts lies a web of toxicity, "haram" excuses, and secret betrayals. As Amira navigates the distance between a house filled with shoe-sacks and a future across the ocean, she realizes that the biggest hurdle isn't the exams-it's outgrowing the boys who were too scared to look her in the eye on the street.

I never knew that one little encounter would change my life completely. I cheated. At least, that's what I thought. I thought I was the only one carrying secrets, the only one making mistakes. Guess I was wrong. What happens when you walk into a room and find your boyfriend and your best friend in the same bed, naked? What happens when you realize she was the one who set you up just so she could have him for herself? And the first words you hear from him are: "Babe, it's not what it looks like, alright? I messed up badly." Funny, isn't it? Because all I did was smile. Then I looked him straight in the eyes and said, "Yeah, it doesn't seem to be... because I don't want you anymore." That was the moment everything changed. The moment betrayal stopped hurting and started feeling like freedom. And that's when I learned the fun part of parting-every night, every memory, every lie becomes another reason to walk away and never look back. *****†*******†**********
