first story

When my dear neighbor and friend, Cy (Cyril) , sadly passed away on December 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with a very painful illness, I was inspired to write this limerick in his honor. I had the pleasure of having Cy and his wife, Bette, as neighbors for 28 years. Cy was an outdoor enthusiast and a perfectionist in maintaining his neat home and property. He was a very kind and generous person who always came to the rescue with a smile when we needed assistance with mechanical problems with our lawnmowers, snowblowers, plumbing , carpentry, etc.

Okay, so this is my take on the GenQ Season 2 opening. It's just a one-off. I tried to undo all the mess, while maintaining some reality. Though, I know this is not how the season will start, I tried to make it plausible - which is why I kept the newbies and Carrie and tried to work them into the storyline. But it wasn't, and they soon realized it when she told them other things, only for it to come true too. That's how she met the other freaks. That's how she met people just like her, her real family. That's how she met the man named Jimmy Darling.

This story is about Bette and Dot's first week at the Freak Show. My take on it is that Dot is Lana Winters, they get the surgery and Dot becomes Lana. So in this story, Dot is a lesbian and Bette likes Jimmy. My first fan-fiction I'm sharing with the public, I hope you enjoy!
