Betty Cooper has always been the perfect, happy, bubbly, sweet girl next door to Archie Andrews, the boy she thought she loved. Jughead Jones, the independent, weirdo, different rebel without a cause never thought he needed much love in his life. But love has a way of coming in places we don't expect. They have already went through so much, but will their relationship survive? ~ ~ ~ This story takes place a few weeks from the last episode of season 1 of Riverdale. Also there IS some Barchie in here, (mainly just the beginning, so don't get mad) but it is STILL a Bughead fanfic cause Bughead is the ultimate ship. There are no spoilers for season 2, and you could read this without watching Riverdale at all, but it is highly advised that you do ;) Enjoy!

The only Jughead had to his name was the 50 bucks in his pocket, his car, and his son who was currently asleep in the back seat. Being a seventeen-year-old parent was not easy and it was even harder when you have nowhere to live after his own mother kick him and his son out of the house. With nowhere else to turn, he heads to Riverdale to visit his dad, someone he had spoken to in years, hoping he would help him until he could stand on his own two feet. There were only two conditions he had to follow: He had to pick an extracurricular activity and keep his grades up. Jughead finally felt as if he could breathe again well that was until a certain blonde came crashing into his life with those damn green eyes of hers that haunts his dreams at night. But that is impossible right, there was no girl who could ever wreak havoc in his life or his heart again...right?

Betty and jughead were friends when they were younger but after fp and Gladys split up, jughead was taken. betty hadn't seen him for years until now. would her old feelings come rushing back? would she even recognise him?

Betty and Jughead were high school sweethearts. They went to college together, lived together, got married, had a baby...but everything changed on one night. Betty- "J-Jug, what's wrong?" (sniffles) Jughead- "I don't mean to sound rude, but who are you?"

prom night in senior year, the night jughead broke betty's heart after they were dating for 3 years. They both moved away into different cities after graduation, not seeing each other for several years. But the memories? Oh, the memories will never be gone and forgotten. So what will happen when they both get offered a job to solve a murder as they return back to Riverdale? Deep down they might be realizing that the feelings for each other were stronger than expected. But it's not as it used to be. Being away for a few years, they both found new partners, betty is even engaged. A lot of drama and complicated things going up from there. A complete mixture of feelings and emotions. Ups and downs. Mistakes and regret. Sadness and happiness.
