Also there IS some Barchie in here, (mainly just the beginning, so don't get mad) but it is STILL a Bughead fanfic cause Bughead is the ultimate ship. There are no spoilers for season 2, and you could read this without watching Riverdale at all, but it is highly advised that you do ;) Enjoy!

Jughead Jones was well known as the serpent prince at Riverdale. He was the hottest guy in town, girls wanted to date him, guys wanted to be him. He was rebellious, a rulebreaker from the wrong side of the tracks. Raised by F.P Jones, the king of serpents, also Jughead's biggest nightmare. Betty Cooper was well known as the perfect girl next door. She was shy and didn't talk to anyone but her friends. She always followed the rules, never rebelled against her mom. Raised by Alice and Hal Cooper, the writers at the Riverdale register, also Betty's biggest nightmare. What happens when Betty goes on a run and Jughead catches a glimpse of her blonde ponytail, and is immediately intrigued on getting her into bed. Until he looks into her deep green eyes, and realizes he's in deep shit.

I watch as Veronica crooks her finger and Archie goes running, without so much as a backward glance to Betty who is just turning from paying for the cotton candy he took off with. To add a little insult to injury, he offers the spun sugar to the brunette. It is time for me to do my job. Time for me to comfort her and assure her that Archie will one day see how wonderful she is. Time for me to let her cry on my shoulder until my shirt is damp. Time for Jughead Jones to help her heal her broken heart.
