Betty had lost Polly and her Mom and the others had detached, after her Mom's passing Betty had gone on an 8 month road trip to NY alone and when she came back everything was different. She left right after the comet that was going to hit Riverdale, didn't, as well as she had just broken up with her boyfriend Archie Andrews and needed a break from the wicked little town known as Riverdale.

This is my second book on Riverdale, you should read the first one to understand everything in this one. Basically, it's during the summer after Archie was arrested. Jade Lodge brings everyone to the Hampton to spend awesome holidays before Archie's trial. Still Cheryl x OC!

Tragedy. Romance. Breakups. And a lot more. Following the ending of season 5, Archie and Betty have well, died, or so you may think. This picks up right where season five ended, with Archie's house going up in flames - with the lead firefighter in it. Hiram Lodge had planted his revenge on Archie Andrews and the town. Well, spoiler.. Betty and Archie end up alive, but how? And what happens next? Will Archie and Betty recover themselves and their relationship or will they move on? One thing I can say is the investigative duo we all know, the blue and the gold, aren't gone forever. Betty and Jughead, both in new relationships, find thereselves back together investigating a new set of murders amongst the area, and the TBK is the main suspect. Will they solve the crimes and put the suspect behind bars? Will they get back together? *This is a story following the ending of season 5. This is my take on what could happen, and don't worry.. this is a Bughead story, along with some possible other couples in the background.
