We are taught to prepare for the big heartbreaks-the betrayals, the arguments, and the sudden endings. But no one prepares you for the quiet erosion of a friendship that was supposed to last forever. There is no manual for the moment you realize a person has transitioned from a daily presence to a distant memory. Erased follows the subtle, realistic journey of two people moving through the motions of their own lives. It is an exploration of the "drifting" phase-the slow stretch of time where messages go unanswered, shared jokes lose their spark, and the vibrant colors of a shared history begin to fade into the background. Sometimes, they are simply smoothed over by the mundane routine of growing up, leaving behind a space where a person used to be. Because the most painful part of losing someone isn't the goodbye. It's the slow process of being erased.

Some say art is best expressed through the medium of colour, yet to me the world is a place only seen in darkness and light, no room for the depths in between... Where the glass is always half empty and never half full, because if the glass dares to express itself as nearing full, it means admitting the defeat of an inability to fulfil potential. But I don't talk about the world... Instead I choose to write about it... I call this place my safe haven, a canvas zone where I can release all of my thoughts and feelings and not feel pressurised to display consistent optimism. A secured territory for my mind to open itself to the possibility of letting the sunshine appear amongst the grey skies.
