Life is so fragile and fleeting. An enigma of this world. It is ephemeral, it is precious, it is a gift and at the same time a curse. Fragile as it is, it easily gets broken and cease to exist. When life exists, death also exists. Death is a natural thing. Death is an everyday occurrence and it is all around us- the death of a trampled flower, the death of a fish in the pond, the thousands of deaths that are reported on the news as the result of a natural disaster- and yet, unless there is a personal stigma attached to it, death means relatively nothing to us. We tend to forget that someday we will die. Memento Mori. As we remember that death is an inevitable thing and every time there is a probability that we will die, we most likely to be getting paranoid over it. We started to fear it, we started to overly conscious about little things to avoid any accident that may cause death. We cannot steer away from it, but what if you die and then the next day you nonchalantly woke up? Where everything about how you view the world change? And let you explore what is beyond? What is beyond death. This tale of fate revolves around a 16 year old high school student named Drake Maltwilight where he was mercilessly killed on his first day of junior year due to some unknown reasons and mysteriously woke up the next day. Unaware that he already died, a strange transfer student told him that he is already dead and she witnesses it all how he died. The transfer student somewhat convinced Drake and as they come in terms, the two of them started to chase his killer, but in the process of chasing they stumbled upon some something, something inconceivable that is far from the reach of the human mind. Something that would lead them to dive the uncharted abyss of the world. Something that would change their fate forever and take on a journey to the unknown.
